Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia Hakob Arshakyan today received the delegation led by Minister of Defense of Iraq Juma Anad Saadoun Khattab who is on an official visit to Armenia, the Ministry of High-Tech Industry reports.

Arshakyan presented several products and solutions offered by Armenia’s military-industrial complex, and the companies of the complex presented the potential of Armenian weapons.

Minister Arshakyan greeted his Iraqi counterpart and expressed willingness to intensify cooperation in military production and other sectors concerning the jurisdiction of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry.

The Iraqi defense minister stated that the aim of his delegation’s visit to Armenia is to improve and enhance the ties between the two friendly countries and develop the cooperation in the military-technical sector.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their desire to continue the cooperation, and Arshakyan attached special importance to the visit of the task force of the Iraqi Ministry of Defense to Armenia.
