YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: According to the capitulation document signed a year ago, on November 9, the Russian peacekeeping brigade undertook the defense of the Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] Republic.

The [Russian] peacekeepers have decided to organize a big event on the occasion of the first anniversary of [their] entry into Artsakh, the RF MOD [(Russian Federation Ministry of Defense)] has issued about 200 medals which the deputy commander of the Southern Military District of the RF [armed forces] [and former commander of the Russian peacekeepers in Artsakh] Rustam Muradov, will bring with him and hand to the "prominent peacekeepers."

He will arrive in Armenia today, and tomorrow morning he will head for Artsakh where the medal ceremony will take place on November 10.
