YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: Opposition factions "Armenia" and "With Honor" have taken the initiative to convene an emergency session [of the National Assembly (NA)] on November 16 on a topic of public interest: "Issues of determining the fate of [Armenian] prisoners of war, captives, missing persons and other detainees [in Azerbaijan], and returning [them] to the homeland."
The [opposition] MPs have submitted a corresponding number of signatures to the NA leadership, and they demand that the urgent discussion [in parliament] be organized at the second main sitting of the regular sessions on Tuesday. They call [PM] Nikol Pashinyan, the director of the NSS [(National Security Service], the foreign minister to the parliament.
Let us note that the [parliamentary] opposition is convening closed discussions in such a format for a long time, but the authorities send to those discussions second-echelon officials, who are unable to satisfy the interests of the MPs, as they are not well informed about the situation of things.
