YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily of Armenia writes: Criminal authority Tuy from Kanaker—Artur Ghazaryan—and NA [(National Assembly)] former MP Artyush Hakobyan were killed yesterday in the Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district [of Yerevan].

According to the information we received, after the incident, the chairman of the Investigative Committee, Argishti Karamyan, made a decision that the criminal case [of this incident] should be investigated by the Serious Crimes Department of the Investigative Department of the city of Yerevan, and it should be under his control.

We were informed that after the incident, the law enforcement system reflected on the clamorous murders in the capital in recent months, in connection with which the law enforcement agencies are still looking for the perpetrators of the murders.

It means that it is not ruled out that after the clamorous murder committed yesterday and, in general, in recent months, a process of "shaking up" the law enforcement system will begin, as the indicators of solving [murders in Armenia] are not satisfactory.
