The Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, presented—live on Russia Today—the consequences of the illegal invasions and terrorist attacks of Azerbaijan on Armenia, the last of which took place on Tuesday.
Tatoyan noted that the fact-finding work of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia proves that the Azerbaijani armed forces commit crimes every day in the immediate vicinity of Armenian villages—and by shooting, stealing, threatening, and intimidating the civilian population.
In the interview with Russia Today, the ombudsman spoke also about the real reasons for these illegal actions.
Tatoyan noted that after the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war last fall, state-backed Armenophobia and propaganda of enmity against Armenians have reached extremist fascism in Azerbaijan.
He added that the Azerbaijani state policy encouraging the Armenocide is a threat to the peaceful life and safety of the peoples of the two countries.
