PARIS. - In an official statement the president of the FRA Dashnaktsutiun for Western Europe, Mourad Papazian, calls the Armenian community of France  to support the former first secretary of the French socialist party in the  primary campaign for presidential election 2012.

Dashnaktsutiun justifies its choice by the fact that François Holland is always "faithful to the combat for the Armenian cause, as well on the question of the necessary recognition of the Armenian genocide by Turkey, as about that of the penalization of the Armenian genocide denial, without forgetting the regulation of the Kharabakh question and entry of Turkey in European Union."

François Holland and Martine Aubry are currently to the neck and neck in the polls for the primaries.
