A tragic incident took place in Yerevan Wednesday, shamshyan.com reports.

At around 10:35am, the Nor Nork division of Yerevan Police received a report that there was a dead body in a train car-shack.

The police and patrol officers who were dispatched to the scene found a man's dead body in the bed in the aforesaid train car-shack.

The police found out that the deceased was Yerevan resident Ashot Zakaryan, 67.

Criminal proceedings have been launched into this incident.

A forensic medical examination of the body was ordered.
