At Friday's Cabinet session, the Armenian government made a decision by which the participants of the 8th Pan-Armenian Games to be held in capital Yerevan this summer will be exempted from paying the state fee for entry visas to Armenia.

According to the information received from the respective authorities, about 4,000 Armenians of foreign citizenship are expected to participate in the aforementioned games.

According to the preliminary assessment, there may be a need to obtain an entry visa for about 200 of the participants.

In this case, in case of granting a free entry permit to visit Armenia with the right to stay for up to 21 days in the country, the total amount of the applied visa can be around 600,000 drams (approx. US$1,500).

Therefore, full information about the limit of expected changes in the respective state budget expenditures will be possible to be submitted after the 8th Pan-Armenian Games.
