Legendary Spanish opera singer Placido Domingo's concert with the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra—under the direction of conductor Eduard Topchjan—was held in Yerevan, with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia.

The concert was held at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall—and within the framework of the 16th Yerevan International Music Festival.

Armenian soprano Juliana Grigoryan, the first-prize winner of the Operalia 2022 World Opera Competition, also performed alongside Domingo during the exclusive evening, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

On the sidelines of the concert, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, Zhanna Andreasyan, delivered welcoming remarks and awarded Juliana Grigoryan with the gold medal of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia.

Arias, duets, and preludes from famous operas, zarzuelas, as well as popular world melodies were performed at the concert, which was held with the main support of Yerevan Municipality.
