Russia's growing economic and military cooperation with China, North Korea and Iran threatens Europe, the Indo-Pacific region and North America, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said on Tuesday, Reuters reported.

Rutte's statement appeared to be a message to the next US administration, the media outlet said.

During a speech ahead of talks with French President Emmanuel Macron, Rutte spoke about the dangers he believes North Korean and Iranian military aid to Russia poses.

“At the same time, China is supporting Russia's economy, supporting its defense industry and strengthening its voice on the world stage. Russia working together with North Korea, Iran and China threatens not only Europe, it threatens peace and security, yes, here in Europe, but also in the Indo-Pacific and in North America,” the NATO secretary general said.
