Erdogan held a meeting with NATO Secretary General: What was discussed?

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

The talks were held in Ankara behind closed doors, Turkish media reported.

The meeting lasted about an hour. From the Turkish side, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Defense Minister Yaşar Güler attended the meeting.

“I met with Turkish President Erdogan to discuss the growing challenges to our collective security - including the threat of terrorism, the war in Ukraine and the crisis in the Middle East.

In an increasingly unpredictable world, Turkey's contribution to NATO is invaluable,” Rutte wrote on social media.
