From January 20 to 22, a total of 23 percent of respondents have assessed Armenia's European Union (EU) membership draft decision as completely positive, 31.9 percent as rather positive, 12 percent as rather negative, and 19.3 percent as completely negative. This was stated by MPG company director, sociologist Aram Navasardyan, during a press conference Wednesday.

Navasardyan added that another 13.8 percent of respondents found it difficult to answer the question. According to him, 51 percent of respondents said that they believe that Armenia will become an EU member in the next 10 years, whereas another 40 percent indicated that they do not believe it.

"Nine percent of respondents found it difficult to answer the question," Navasardyan emphasized.

According to his data, 27.2 percent of respondents assessed the signing of the Strategic Partnership Charter between Armenia and the US as completely positive, 34.5 percent as rather positive, 13.1 percent as rather negative, and 10.9 percent as completely negative.

“Another 14.3 percent of respondents found it difficult to answer the question,” the sociologist concluded.
