In his first 100 days in office, US President Donald Trump has had 33 public phone conversations and 17 meetings with foreign leaders, NBC News has calculated.

The US president has had two phone conversations each with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Trump met Zelensky in person twice, once at a highly contentious White House meeting that ended without a major mining deal, and another time at St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican for the funeral of Pope Francis.

Trump had the most bilateral phone conversations (three each) with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, and then-Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

He also had two phone conversations, each with Putin and Zelensky, and two phone conversations with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Trump's first phone conversation with a foreign leader was with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
