The talks between India and Pakistan at the level of their military operations commanders have been postponed, the Indian Armed Forces informed, reports Reuters.

The talks were to take place over the phone, via a hotline, at noon Indian time.

They were announced back on May 10, when the Indian foreign ministry had informed about the agreement on ceasefire and cessation of hostilities on the Indo-Pakistani border.

The talks between the aforesaid military commanders have been postponed until Monday evening.

Relations between India and Pakistan have strained considerably after the April 22 terror attack in the popular tourist town of Pahalgam in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, which killed 25 Indians and one Nepali.
