The European Union (EU) may vote on another package of sanctions against Russia on June 20 if the United States agrees to coordinate its positions on the matter, a senior diplomat said, Politico reports.
If the United States agrees to a coordinated approach, the vote on the new sanctions package could take place as early as June 20.
The EU hopes it can get the respective signal during the Group of Seven meeting, which will take place in Canada on June 15-17.
