Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan on Tuesday met with Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The meeting took place on the sidelines of the third UN Ocean Conference in Nice, France.

The interlocutors discussed cooperation between Armenia and the IAEA, including ongoing activities for the safe use of nuclear energy and the effective utilization of opportunities provided by the development of nuclear science and technology, informs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

Also, they addressed the Armenian government’s priorities in nuclear energy and collaboration with international partners.

Mirzoyan and Grossi exchanged views on regional developments as well.
