VANADZOR. – A stabbing occurred Tuesday in a school in Armenia’s Vanadzor city, Armenian News-NEWS.am’s correspondent informed from the city.

During class, ninth-grade student Erik Harutyunyan, 15, argued with his classmate Hayk Gharagyozyan and stabbed him. But the stab wound was not serious, so Hayk was not hospitalized. 

According to our information, the argument had started over turning on the stove.

And in an interview with Armenian News-NEWS-am, Police Force Vanadzor Precinct Investigation Division Chief Artur Sargsyan said a forensic medical examination is commissioned for the injured party, and the knife used in the stabbing is sent for criminal-expert examination.  

The Police Force is preparing a report on the incident.
