Two Georgian citizens died in the air crash in Iran, the Georgian MFA press service reports. The spouse of Georgian mission Head in Iran and the Financial Manager of the Georgian Embassy to Armenia died in the air crash.

Tehran-Yerevan plane crashed 16 minutes after take-off from the Tehran Airport near Qazvin city of Iran the plane burned at once. Most likely, 153 passengers and 15 crew members are dead.

The President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan cut short his visit to Spitak after receiving the information about the Tehran-Yerevan air crash and returned to Yerevan.
