No country has the right to seize the territory of another country, neither in Ukraine, nor in Greenland, nor anywhere else in the world. Kaja Kallas, the European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, stated this, as she commented on US President Donald Trump's threats to take possession of Greenland.
Kallas noted that Europe is ready to discuss Arctic security with Washington, but threatening with tariffs is not the way to go, DW reports.
Sovereignty is not a bargaining chip, the EU foreign policy chief noted.
