Israeli President Isaac Herzog declined to predict when the US and Israeli military operations against Iran will end, but stressed that Israel intends to see the operation through to its conclusion. The respective interview with the Israeli president was published in the German daily Bild.

If we judge everything only by the tachometer, we will not get anywhere. We must take a deep breath and reach the final result, Herzog said.

According to him, the current confrontation is linked to the conflict that began in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.

"I think we may be reaching the final chapter of the war by changing the entire configuration of the Middle East," the Israeli president said.
