YEREVAN. – The joint headquarter for controlling the parliamentary elections revealed an array of new mechanisms for falsification of election results and this time those mechanisms are connected with the first, middle and last names of voters, Prosperous Armenia Party member Vardan Oskanyan told during the Friday Session of the joint headquarter mentioning that the mistakes were revealed through special computer programs.

According to Oskanyan, mistakes in the voter lists reach up to several thousands.

“Currently I have a list of several hundred mistakes on voters’ names. Very often the same first, middle and last names are registered several times, but each time there is a mistake in the first name, middle name or last name, or the same first, middle and last names are registered with the same address but with different birth dates,” Vardanyan Oskanyan mentioned.

According to Oskanyan these are not technical mistakes.

“This has been done on intention,” he stressed.

As Oskanyan mentioned, because the authorities have neither time nor the wish to check the voters’ lists, only one thing remains – to publish the lists of the people who have voted.

Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) is a political power included in the ruling coalition.

Founded by Armenian biggest businessman Gagik Tsarukyan, the party debuted in 2007 Armenian parliamentary elections, winning 29 seats in 131-seat Armenia’s National Assembly.

The proportional list of the party includes 165 names. PAP has also nominated MP candidates with the majority election system. Prosperous Armenia Party’s election campaign slogan is: “Believe, trust, demand!”
