STEPANAKERT. – The situation at the frontlines has aggravated due to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Air Force helicopter’s downing on Wednesday by the Azerbaijan Armed Forces, and at the eastern sector of the Karabakh-Azerbaijan Line of Contact.
Specifically, the adversary violated the ceasefire around 250 times in one day, during which more than 3,000 shots were fired in the direction of Armenian positions, and by way of different-caliber rifle weaponry.
The NKR Defense Army vanguard units, however, primarily adhered to the ceasefire and took retaliatory actions solely when absolutely necessary, the NKR Ministry of Defense (MOD) press service informed.
