British Film Festival 13th Love Edition will be held in Yerevan from February 14 to 20.

The festival is organized by the UK Embassy in Armenia, British Council and Beeline as a sponsor of the event. This year the festival will feature seven movies which were released in 2014 about love, loyalty, rules made by society, struggles for happiness and victory.

UK Ambassador to Armenia Katherine Leach said the best films about love would be screened.

“The main topic is love, love for nature, for homeland. The films will show how love can change and heal a person,” Leach said during a press conference on Friday.

The festival will be opened by the movie “The Imitation Game” that is nominated for Oscar in eight categories.

Had of British Council in Armenia Arevik Saribekyan added that the films presented at the festival have many awards and got high assessment of film critics.

After the end of the festival in Yerevan, movies will be shown in Dilijan, Armavir and Ararat.
