On September 15, the European Court of Human Rights will hold a hearing on a lawsuit filed by an Armenian family against Azerbaijan, reads the article by Harut Sassounian, the publisher of The California Courier newspaper.

On August 11, former resident of Gulistan village of the Shahumyan region (north of Artsakh) Minas Sargsyan filed a lawsuit, regarding the destruction of his house and eviction from his property. He also mentioned that someone else, most likely an Azerbaijani, presently resides in his house. A year ago Sargsyan passed away, but his widow and two children keep track of the case.

On the same day a similar lawsuit brought by a group of several Azeris against Armenia will be heard (Chiragov and others vs. Armenia).
