Karen Khanlarian and Zhorzh Abrahamian, two of the four Armenian candidates running in Friday’s parliamentary election in Iran, have been elected into the parliament, Khanlarian told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In his words, the Iranian Armenian community actively participated in the voting.

“I’m very satisfied with the parliamentary elections,” Khanlarian added. “I think the result is very good.”
