The blue diamond ring that belonged to the American actress Shirley Temple failed to find buyers at the Sotheby's Auction in New York. Buyer's, reports Rambler News Service. The gemstone of the ring weighs 9.54 carats. Estimated value of the jewelry was 25 - 35 million dollars.

The ring was a gift for Temple  from her father who purchased it in 1940 for her birthday and in honor of the premiere of Maurice Maeterlinck play’s The Blue Bird, where she played Mitil.
