YEREVAN. –Yelk (Way Out) Bloc will be the only real opposition force in Armenia's new parliament , Caucasus Institute Deputy Director, political scientist Sergey Minasyan told reporters on Tuesday.

According to him, the Yelk Bloc will operate in the future parliament rather effectively. The Tsarukyan Bloc will play the role of the so-called constructive opposition, “as it is not a secret for anyone, meeting with whom prompted Gagik Tsarukyan’s come back to politics," Minasyan stressed.

In Armenia, according to the political scientist, there will be also non-parliamentary opposition in the person of other forces, civil society activists and some journalists.

The winners of the Sunday’s parliamentary elections are the Yelk [Way Out] Bloc – 7.77%, the Tsaurkyan Bloc – 27.32%, the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) – 49.12% and Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Dashnaktsutyun Party – 6.57%.
