The second high-level Armenian-EU meeting on mobility was held in Brussels on January 23.

Armenian deputy foreign minister Garen Nazarian led Armenian delegation and the Director of Strategy and General Affairs of the Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs Marta Tsygan represented the EU, Armenian foreign ministry said.

The parties discussed programs within the partnership on mobility, noted the priorities for further work and recognized successful implementation of projects over border management, integration, migration and development.

Nazaryan stressed importance of the successful implementation of the agreements on visa facilitation and readmission and the importance of the dialogue on visa liberalization, as reflected in Armenia-EU bilateral documents and multilateral documents within Eastern Partnership program.

The Armenian side noted the readiness to ensure the continuation of the reforms.
