Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko appointed Lieutenant-General Peter Litvin as Ukraine's ambassador to Armenia, Ukrainian President press service reported.

To appoint Petro Lytvyn Mikhailovich-Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in Republic of Armenia, the statement said.

Petro Lytvyn was commander of the 8th Army Corps of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since May 2012.
