Saudi Arabian security forces killed three suspected militants in the east of the kingdom, AP reported. 

According to the source, the shooting happened in Qatif. Security forces surrounded the house with the rebels and urged them to surrender. Instead, they started to fire at the security men.

Three members of the security forces were "slightly injured" in the shootout.

The militants were Saudi Arabian citizens who were "involved in terror incidents".
