YEREVAN. – Gor Sargsyan (born in 1987), a contract soldier of the Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Armenia, was found dead on Saturday.

The serviceman’s body was found at around 8:50pm, at the combat position of a military unit, and with a fatal gunshot wound, the MOD information and public relations department reported.

An investigation is underway to find out the circumstances behind this incident.
