The State Secretary of the Belarusian Security Council Stanislav Zas expressed his readiness to meet with the Armenian leadership “at any convenient time."

His remark came after the meeting with the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, BelTA reported.

Asked to comment whether the meeting with the Armenian leadership has been scheduled, he said: “I am ready to come to Armenia and meet with the Armenian Prime Minister, Foreign Minster and Defense Minister at any convenient time to discuss the issues or problems they see in the organization’s activities.”

The Belarusian candidature for the CSTO Secretary General post has already been agreed upon by the Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Russia’s leaders. Stanislav Zas has visited all these countries and met each president.
