The NATO member states FM’s are likely to discuss the situation with Turkey’s acquisition of the Russian S-400 system, the NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told reporters in Washington before the meeting.

According to him, each NATO ally makes the decision to purchase weapons.

"We see that this is an issue which has created disagreement between allies, and NATO provides a platform for allies to address issues like this," Anadolu reported quoting Stoltenberg. “NATO provides support that augments the air defenses of Turkey already," he added.
