Reforms aimed at improving risk management in the movement of goods and services are always in the center of attention of our department. Digitization is becoming a prerequisite for success in improving the cross-border trading system, said Armenian State Revenue Committee chair David Ananyan on Monday at the international conference on digital solutions for cross-border cooperation and trade facilitation.

He also highlighted the importance of signing relevant documents with Iran and Georgia, which can provide an opportunity to exchange information, which is important from the point of view of transparency in the movement of goods.

Ananyan noted that there are also similar bilateral agreements with the Eurasian Economic Union states in the field of digital technology development and information exchange.

The SRC head also highlighted the importance of maximizing the use of the single window principle, which has already been introduced in Armenia.

Continuous development is very important, considering that both the SRC and Armenia as a whole aspire to leadership in the world in many areas, he concluded.
