A brutal murder was committed on January 22, in Chinari town of Armenia’s Tavush Province.
According to shamshyan.com, police and investigators had found that, according to preliminary information, Chinari resident Nairuhi A., 30, had committed suicide by hanging herself with a rope from a baby crib in the bedroom of her home.
But it turned out that the incident was not a suicide but an imitation of suicide. Police found out that Chinari resident Gevorg Petrosyan, 31, had strangled his wife, Nairuhi A. to death with a string, in the bedroom of their house.
A criminal case has been instituted on the fact.
Petrosyan is detained.
He works as the director of the house of culture in Chinari.
