YEREVAN. – At 2:43pm, a call was received from people that there was a gunman at Erebuni Plaza. Ashot Aharonyan, head of the Police Information Department, said this in a briefing with reporters, referring to the shots fired at Erebuni Plaza hotel.
"Relevant actions are being taken right now," he added, in particular. “All circumstances are being checked. According to preliminary information, there are no affected.”
There are police officers also at the TV5's office in the hotel.
Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier that shots were fired inside Erebuni Plaza hotel.
