YEREVAN. – The Homeland Salvation Movement, which demands the resignation of PM Nikol Pashinyan, has convened a new rally on Marshal Baghramyan Avenue, across the National Assembly of Armenia.

At the end of the previous rally, the movement's candidate for prime minister, ex-PM Vazgen Manukyan, had stated: "On Saturday we will hold a huge rally where we will show that all the people are participating in it."

The opposition—led by this movement—has been holding a 24-hour sit-in on Marshal Baghramyan Avenue for a long time. Tents have been pitched there, and the avenue is closed off.
