Opposition Homeland Party leader Artur Vanetsyan, who heads the "I Have the Honor" bloc’s electoral list in Sunday’s snap parliamentary elections and is its candidate for PM, had come to vote together with his family.

He told reporters that he will vote for a dignified, prosperous, and secure Armenia, a great homeland, and for the future of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and Armenia. "Today is not just elections; today is an election for Armenia to be or not to be," he added.

Reflecting on the pressure on the opposition, including the members of the "I Have the Honor" bloc, Vanetsyan stated: "The authorities are in agony, all their steps are aimed at weakening the positions of the opposition. They realize that they will never have the opportunity to be reproduced or to form a government in Armenia. They are making the last efforts to remain clinging to their seats of power."

Asked whether he thinks there will be post-election developments in Armenia, Vanetsyan said: "I think there will be no post-election developments because the election results will prove who will form the government in Armenia."

He added that there are reports about numerous election irregularities.

According to Artur Vanetsyan, the scandalous and unprecedented thing is that acting PM Nikol Pashinyan went live on social media on the day of election silence on Saturday.
