Azerbaijani Presidential Representative for Special Assignments, Elchin Amirbekov, announced on Thursday that negotiations in Yevlakh could potentially lead to the conclusion of a peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan, RIA Novosti reports.

According to Amirbekov, the Azerbaijani side has already presented a draft peace agreement to Armenia and is now awaiting their response. Amirbekov clarified that the agreement's focus is not on the repatriation of Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh, as this is considered an internal matter of Azerbaijan.
