The conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh is not over. UK journalist de Waal, who is also a senior fellow with Carnegie Europe specializing in Eastern Europe and the Caucasus region as well as an expert on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, on Thursday noted this on X—former Twitter.
“As well as talks today, reports of gunfire, terrified Armenian civilians in [Karabakh capital] Stepanakert. Also some local officers not laying down their arms. Casualty figures now estimated at 200+” de Waal added.
