The Netherlands joins the EU in condemning the Azerbaijani military operation in Nagorno-Karabakh, and the resulting loss of life. Dutch foreign minister Hanke Bruins Slot wrote this on X, former Twitter, noting that she met with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov, within the framework of the UN General Assembly in New York.
“We call for just treatment of Karabakh Armenians, guaranteeing their rights and security,” the Dutch FM added, and stated that together with other EU members, they call on Azerbaijan to provide immediate and unimpeded humanitarian access to the people of Nagorno-Karabakh.
