US President Joe Biden has not sent any aid through USAID to Artsakh/Nagorno-Karabakh since the 2020 war. He did not provide any assistance to the besieged Artsakh, the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) wrote on its X microblog.
“But he is sending photographers to showcase his ‘compassion’ for the refugees he helped Azerbaijan ethnically-cleanse from Artsakh,” ANCA wrote in a tweet.
“Having armed Azerbaijan’s genocide of Artsakh’s 120,000 indigenous Christian Armenians - Biden now sends ‘flowers to the funeral’ of the Armenians he was actively complicit in ethnically cleansing from their ancient homeland No aid to Artsakh. But no shortage of photographers,” reads the post.
No help for Artsakh. But there is no shortage of photographers... USAID has spent more on photographers for Samantha Power’s current trip to Armenia than it spent on humanitarian aid programs in #Artsakh over the past three years,” reads another post.
