YEREVAN. – Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan on Friday received representatives of the Yezidi NGOs.

They presented their concern over persecution of Yezidis by the Islamic state in Iraq.

Kocharyan stressed that the Armenian authorities share the concerns of the Yezidi community and noted that Armenia will continue to raise the issue of ending violence against Yezidis and other ethnic and religious minorities, not only in Iraq but throughout the Middle East, in various international organizations
