In the course of Gul-Peres meeting in Copenhagen, Turkish President Abdullah Gul stated he will visit Israel if the latter takes steps towards the improvement of situation in Gaza Strip, Turkish Gazetevatan website reports referring to Israeli Haaretz daily.
As NEWS.am reported previously, Abdullah Gul met with his Israeli counterpart Shimon Peres in Copenhagen, December 18, 2009. The meeting was held in a friendly and cozy atmosphere, Turkish Gercekgundem website reports referring to Israeli Presidential Press Service.
According to the Israeli statement, Gul accepted Israeli President’s invitation to visit Israel on t condition that it will take measures to improve the situation in Gaza Strip.
