“It is impossible to impose any status on Nagorno-Karabakh, unless it is accepted by people. If Karabakhi people give their consent, the country’s leadership will open talks based on corresponding principles. All we do, we do for our citizens. If the leader goes on with displeasing people, he will be replaced shortly, whereas the decision made will not be carried out,” said the NKR Defense Minister Movses Hakobyan.

In addition, he expressed full confidence in RA President Serzh Sargsyan. “Knowing the president personally, I assure that he cannot take any steps conflicting with our nation’s interests,” Hakobyan concluded.
