January 21, a number of Iranian pro-governmental and oppositional newspapers got warning from Iranian Media Control Group of the Iranian Culture Ministry.

The reason for the warning were publications “insulting the honor and dignity of the country’s president aimed at violating the country’s stability,” Mehr news agency reports.

In particular, the newspapers publishing a response to Iran Presidential Apparatus Head Rahim Mashai’s letter, as well as a response to the publication of an article by ex-Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Hassan Rouhani were warned.
