YEREVAN. – Armenia is for the integration processes in the CIS area, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan told in an interview to Russia 24 answering to the question on the Armenian side regarding the Customs union.
“We have always been for any integration process in the post-Soviet area, and the Customs union and the Common Economic Space (CES) are not exclusion. Hence, we study very carefully the processes, which took place here. We along with my Russian counterpart arranged to set up a working group studying the given issue. We are told we lack common border, also various reasons prohibit the integration concerning the World Trade Organization (WTO). However, we believe that an expert work and an expertise are what are necessary. And we deal with it,” Sargsyan said.
