YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Ambassador to Romania, Hamlet Gasparyan, on Monday met with Romanian Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Daniel Barbu. 

Pointing to the bilateral contacts that exist, the parties discussed the activities in connection with the Romanian-Armenian cultural heritage, and made arrangements on the respective future courses of action, Armenian MFA press service informs.  

Giving a high assessment to the Armenian and Romanian governments’ 2011-2015 program on cooperation in the fields of culture, education and science, the interlocutors reflected on the prospects for implementing joint activities in the outlined directions.  

In addition, they pointed to the prospects for carrying out joint programs in the domains of theater, cinema, and literature.  

Also, Ambassador Gasparyan conveyed to Barbu Armenian Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan’s invitation to pay an official visit to Armenia, and the Romanian minister accepted the invitation with delight.
