YEREVAN.- Armenian parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan received on Monday President of the International Expert Center for Electoral System (ICES) Alexander Tsinker and expert Anna Churdova.

During the meeting, they discussed issues related to upcoming presidential elections, in particular pre-election campaign. The sides also stressed importance of holding fair and transparent elections in Armenia.

Speaker Abrahamyan pointed out Armenian leadership’s political will to conduct fair and free elections in compliance with international standards.  

ICES is one of the international organizations monitoring Armenia’s presidential vote.
