YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Nature Protection Minister, Aram Harutyunyan, headed to Germany for an official visit from Monday to Thursday.

Harutyunyan is slated to meet with Peter Altmaier, the German Federal Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.  

Also, the two respective ministries of Armenia and Germany will sign, in Berlin on Tuesday, a declaration on cooperation, the Armenian Ministry of Nature Protection informs.

In addition, Harutyunyan is scheduled to pay a visit to the German organization that conducts integrated pollution prevention and control activities.    

During the talk, the parties will discuss the avenues for enhancing bilateral cooperation, coordinating the common interests, and exchanging knowhow between the environmental specialists of both countries.
